I married into Block Island as my wife’s family has been coming since before her grandfather bought a house on Spring Street many years ago. We bought our Island home in 2009 and have come as often as possible at all times of the year since then. We moved to the Island after we both retired in 2021.
The Block Island community is as very dear to us as the beautiful Island itself. My wife and I cannot imagine ever tiring of walking the Island’s trails and beaches. Little makes me happier than running Crescent Beach on a brisk, off season day at low tide.
Before retirement I had two careers, spending 18 years in banking and 20 years as a high school math and business teacher.
